Monkeys Narrowly Defeat Worldwide
After an evening of torrential rains and a power outage that forced the postponement of an earlier game, the Monkeys narrowly defeated Prestige Worldwide 5-3 on Sunday night. After jumping to a two goal lead, the Monkeys watched their lead slowly slip away as Prestige relentlessly attacked and tied the game in the 3rd, 3-3. The Monkeys fought back and managed to get one more by Prestige goalie Tim Jones. The Monkeys sealed the game with an empty netter. Next week, the Monkeys play Vandelay Industries at 2:30PM.
